Fr. Anthony comes from a fairly broad background, a former ordained protestant minister who pastored with the Southern Baptist and Nazarene denominations. He was raised to honor the Holy Scriptures as the inspired words of God. He was firmly convinced of the 16th century Lutheran reformation principles of "sola scriptura" and "sola fide." However, as he came to know the scriptures more fully through study, and he became convicted of the truths of the Catholic Church and often found himself as a protestant defending the Roman Catholic dogmas. Eventually, following a major series of personal crises in his life, he entered into the Church formally. The healing process of Jesus and His Blessed Mother are having their Merciful effect on him. He senses that he is "Home" now. God is leading him daily into a deeper walk and relationship with Christ, Mary, the Saints and the Church. He shares his thoughts and theological reflections now with us and asks that they be read and reflected on prayerfully to the greater glory of God through Jesus and Mary.
